Marina Pony Baseball Softball (MPBS) was founded over 30 years ago as a non-profit, fully volunteer-run organization committed to providing recreational baseball and softball for the youth of Marina. For most of the youth involved, MPBS is the only opportunity to play recreational baseball and softball prior to High School sports in Marina. We recognize the purpose of sport as a challenge to develop one’s individual skills with the need to blend individual performance with team goals. Good sportsmanship is most important and while victory is the goal of competition, the competition is more rewarding than the final score.  Our goal is to provide a quality program that can meet the needs of all the children in our community, as well as maintain the League’s existing integrity. We also work hard to ensure that we provide the best sports experience for youth players at the lowest possible cost, focusing on a wide range of playing experience that is the right mix for recreational baseball and softball in Marina and is of mutual benefit for all partner organizations.
