Tournaments
Each summer MPBS hosts invitational baseball tournaments that provide an opportunity for local PONY tournament teams to gain experience working together prior to the PONY All-Star events. In addition to serving as important revenue-generating events, these tournaments are a great experience for Marina players and an excellent opportunity to watch the emerging baseball talent on the Monterey Peninsula. We have also listed other local tournaments that MPBS all-star teams will be playing in. MPBS Rookie, Minors, and Majors Softball teams play in a regular season CCS playoff, then the all-star teams play in the CSS all-star tournament. This year MPBS will also host the first PONY Coast Region All-Star tournament.
ALL MPBS TOURNAMENTS ARE FOR RECREATIONAL ALL-STAR TEAMS ONLY. TRAVEL BALL TEAMS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO ENTER.

MPBS ALL-STARS
MPBS Board of Directors has enacted a new all-star contract that describes participation, volunterism, and commitment requirements for all baseball and softball all-star teams. This contract must be signed by all parents of chosen all-stars before they are allowed to practice with the all-star team. Click here for the 2009 MPBS All-Star Contract.
